Day 1 (Marangu Gate 1,843 m ? Mandara Hut 2,700 m – Marangu Gate 1,843 m):
In the morning depart Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. At the entrance of the park you’ll work out the permits with your guide and you will ascent up the mountain through the rain forest. When you reach Mandara Hut, you will enjoy your packed lunch and the views before descending down again.

Ascending hiking time: 5-7 hrs
Descending distance: 8 km
Descending hiking time: 2 hrs

When reaching Manrangu Gate your driver will awaits you and transport you back to Moshi.
